Mindset
What if you had the mindset of Oprah Winfrey?
I love how Oprah supports the fail forward concept where mistakes are how you learn and grow. When first starting out in her TV career, she was told many times, she wouldn't succeed and couldn't earn top $$$$. How she proved the nay sayers wrong. Her mindset and self-belief, even when she didn't believe was so strong, it took her to where she is today. She's now, one of the 10 richest women in the world. Oprah is a great example of a growth mindset, this combined with the fact, she has followed her inner guidance, and done what she was born to do, is truly inspirational.
Growth Mindset vs. Fixed + Key Takeaways From Dweck's Book
I'm a big fan of Carol Dweck's theory on fixed vs. growth mindset as being stuck in a rut, as we all know can be our undoing. When we hold onto a fixed mindset, there's little room to move forward and realise our goals and dreams. Whereas, a growth mindset is much more expansive, it supports us to take positive steps, even, when we are afraid and leads to positive outcomes, which flows into abundance, so dreams can come true.
Magnetite, The Crystal in our Brain.
Magnetite is one of the most magnetic substances on the planet and allows us to detect the electromagnetic field of the Earth, acting as our own inner compass. Not many people know that we have this crystal in our brain. How amazing. This intrigued me, as in modern times we are encouraged to use the GPS on our phones, instead of our intuition, which is our own inner compass. I love how tapping into magnetite within our brain can help us to access our psychic abilities, as well as the electomagnetic frequencies around us. The Ancient Egyptians built the pyramids to use for harnessing electromagnetic frequencies for creating electricity and also, improving health. Isn't it great, we have that capacity, even, today and can access these abilities within our own body?
Money Trauma: The Invisible Force Behind Financial Stress
Recently, I participated in Tash Corbin's Fast Money Challenge, which is an excellent way to trigger money blocks and mindset issues. I was surprised at what came up for me, especially, thinking I had already cleared alot of what was in my way. Tash invited me to talk to her group about Intergenerational Trauma and how it affects our beliefs around receiving money. We also discussed those limiting beliefs from our family of origin learnt in childhood. It was such a fascinating topic, that I wrote this blog and you can also, watch the interview between Tash & I on my blog.
How to Use the Power of Your Imagination to Create Big Magic.
One of the ways, I support my clients is by helping them to reframe their beliefs to new beliefs that support their growth and creates a mindset upgrade. When you upgrade your mindset, it's possible to make new choices that help you step into new opportunities, as they come along. This story is really, touching and I'm sure many can relate, as we've all experienced loss in our lives, in some form or another. When Sandy lost her eldest son, it started a journey into reframing her thoughts and she was able to use the power of visualisation and her imagination to create her dream relationship, and ultimately, her dream life.
